What this site collects, and what it does not
Mark and Metal is an independent editorial desk. This page explains what the desk stores, what a hosting provider logs, what following an outbound link means, and how to write about data questions.
No cookies or tracking
This site stores nothing in your browser. It sets no cookie of its own, runs no analytics, and keeps no record of your visit. There is no account to create, no login to use, no newsletter to join, and no comment form to fill. The pages you read are served to you without asking you to identify yourself.
Because no account exists, there is no profile attached to your reading. The desk does not know which pages you open, how long you stay, or where you go next. The only personal data the editor sees is what you choose to write in an email, and that email is not stored on this site.
Hosting provider keeps technical logs
Every website is served by a hosting provider, and that provider keeps technical request logs. These logs record the IP address your internet connection uses, the time of the request, and which file was sent. This is standard for any web host and is not something this desk can switch off.
The publisher of this site does not read a reader's personal data out of those logs. The logs are used to keep the server running and to stop abuse, not to build a picture of any individual. If a reader wants to know what is logged, they must ask the hosting provider, because the editor cannot answer for it.
Affiliate link leaves this site
This site links to one broker, FxPro, through an affiliate link. When you follow that link, you leave Mark and Metal and arrive on a site operated by someone else. The broker's own site runs under its own terms and its own privacy policy, and this desk has no control over what that site does.
The broker may set cookies, ask for personal details, or track your activity according to its own rules. Mark and Metal is not responsible for that. Before you open an account or give any information, read the broker's privacy policy and terms carefully. The link is a door to another building, not an extension of this one.
Contacting the editor for corrections
The contact address on this site is editor@goldpricebrokerae.com. Writing to that address reaches Laila Haddad, the precious metals editor, who is responsible for what the site states. Corrections are the reason the address exists: a figure that is wrong is corrected and the correction is dated.
If you have a question about what the site collects, what a hosting provider logs, or what an outbound link means, write to that address. The editor will answer from the facts on this page, not from guesswork. This desk cannot promise to remove data it never held, but it can explain what it knows.
